The Best Ways to Learn About AI in 2025
AI Jobs Future Preparation is essential in 2025 as AI agents take over. Prepare people now for the changing job landscape.
AI agents are ready to hit the business world, with autonomous systems capable of making decisions for you and acting independently. According to experts, 25% of companies using AI will pilot these intelligent agents by 2025.
2025 is here, and there is a word that has been setting the course for technology in companies since last year: agent AI or AI agent. This concept, which until recently sounded like something from another planet, has become a reality that seeks to cause a 180-degree turn in the way companies work, make decisions, and carry out their processes.
The big problem is the one mentioned above. There are still many who do not understand what exactly it is, how it works, and why 2025 has been cataloged as the great year of AI agents.
To cut to the chase, it is a type of artificial intelligence designed to work autonomously, as if it were an independent agent. Unlike ChatGPT-style AIs, which need constant human supervision or work under predefined rules, the AI agent can make decisions, plan strategies, and execute tasks without direct intervention.
To make it clearer, think for a moment about a system that not only answers your questions, as a chatbot would, but also anticipates your needs, analyzes data in real-time, and even acts proactively.
For example, in a company, an AI agent could manage inventories, predict when a machine will need maintenance, or even coordinate humans to meet specific goals. Going further, you can create medical AI agents that automatically schedule appointments, analyze medical histories, and suggest personalized treatments.
"Not only do they inherit the capabilities of the assistants, but they also stand out for their advanced reasoning, their ability to process and act on data in real time, and their interconnection with other specialized models," explains Aitor Pastor, CEO of Disia, in an interview for Computer Hoy.
Simply put, we're no longer talking about reactive tools; we are entering a new era where machines can be perfect allies of humans, nail and flesh, and serve as enormous partners.
In addition, these systems constantly learn from their failures and successes thanks to machine learning, so they are able to feed back and learn faster and better than a human would.
Artificial intelligence agents are here to stay: Why is 2025 the key year?
According to the main technology reports, 2025 will be decisive for several strategic reasons. Organizations such as Gartner and Deloitte anticipate that approximately 25% of companies using AI will implement pilots of these tools this year.
Big tech companies like Google, Apple, and Nvidia are investing heavily in specialized chips to train artificial intelligence locally. This development ultimately leads to the creation and improvement of more autonomous systems, capable of making decisions without human intervention.
Going to some numbers, it is expected that by 2025:
At least 15% of day-to-day work decisions are made by AI agents.
Companies optimize processes through smarter and more autonomous systems.
Regulatory frameworks are created to ensure responsible use.
With all this, and although there is still a long way to go, one thing is clear: society is entering a new era where machines, AI, are no longer just tools; they are now great allies that are smarter and more independent.
"Industries invest in artificial intelligence not only because of their economic capacity, but also because solutions based on AI agents have a very high tangible impact on their operations, saving thousands of hours of work and millions of dollars in operational costs," says the expert.
"While it's natural to fear job losses, the history of technological revolutions teaches us that these changes also create new job opportunities. Roles such as artificial intelligence developers, data engineers, and supervisors of autonomous systems are growing in value. Therefore, rather than being alarmed, the focus should be on training and developing skills that prepare people for the jobs of the future," he adds.
